QUINTANA ROO DEBUTS THE QUINTANA ROO BTA BOTTLE SYSTEM
Quintana Roo applies aero and engineering expertise to develop an IRONMAN and Challenge Family-legal between-the-aerobars hydration system.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 1, 2025) – With a decades-long history in developing product designed to benefit triathletes, Quintana Roo has unequivocally led the charge in aerodynamic advancement, while developing practical solutions for triathletes. It is that expertise and drive to provide for all triathletes that heralded today’s debut of the Quintana Roo BTA Bottle System.
The Quintana Roo BTA Bottle System answers the call for more fueling—exactly where and when you need it. Fully modular and constructed of sturdy aluminum, the BTA Bottle System can store one bottle horizontally, two in either stacking or front/rear configuration, or up to three bottles in a stacked and front/rear configuration.
With up to two legal liters of fluid or gel in addition to a triathlete’s existing frame-located hydration options, triathletes can stay on top of their race fueling plans—with easy access to the nutrition they trained with—all while reducing the need to slow down for additional fuel at aid stations, and while maintaining aero position.
Fully legal for use in both IRONMAN and Challenge Family events, the Quintana Roo BTA Bottle System can hold up to three bottles containing a maximum two liters (equivalent to up to three 22oz water bottles), or two bottles in all Germany-based triathlon events when the BTA Bottle System is installed with both bottles situated forward of the top tube, without running afoul of the event’s legal limits.
The Quintana Roo BTA Bottle System is designed to fit any bike with either Vision TFA extensions or TFE Pro extensions coupled with its between-extension stability bridge. Additionally, it works with any aerobars with BTA accessories featuring a compatible riser bridge and a 32mm bolt pattern affixing platform. All Quintana Roo V-PRi and V-PR models meet this criteria, as do select X-PR build options.
The BTA Bottle System is available for purchase directly online for $299, and includes the BTA Bottle System rail, the BTA riser three secure carbon fiber Arundel Mandible bottle cages.
