Joes to Pros: Preparing for Your First IRONMAN 70.3

Hunter and Calvin are two long-time Quintana Roo employees who have never done a triathlon. This year, that's finally going to change!

This is "Joe to Pros," a series where we'll follow two triathlon newbies as they prepare for IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga. In our first episode, we meet Hunter and Calvin, learn about their athletic backgrounds, and discover what inspired them to take on the biggest challenge of their lives.

Fortunately, Hunter and Calvin won't be doing their first 70.3 alone. As Quintana Roo employees, they're going to get helpful tips from our pro athletes, a training plan from a top IRONMAN coach, and access to Quintana Roo's best swim gear and triathlon bikes.

Over the next 18 weeks, Hunter and Calvin are working with Conrad Goeringer, an IRONMAN Certified Coach based out of Nashville, TN, and the founder of Working Triathlete. To get them on the right track for 70.3 success, Coach Goeringer explained the five key things they should focus on this spring. Check out what tips he gave Hunter and Calvin in his training blog post:
