The First Quintana Roo Pro Qualified for IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships is…

With the cutoff for 2026 70.3 Worlds in late July, all 70.3 racing the rest of the year (and the balance of 2027) is with one place in mind: Chattanooga.

Quintana Roo tent in IRONMAN Chattanooga

Chattanooga last hosted the event in 2017, when Javier Gomez and Daniela Ryf took the titles, and a decade on, IRONMAN is coming back with its 70.3 crown jewel on August 28 and 29, 2027. Of course, we’re excited for the move from Nice to Chattanooga, because now, it’s in Quintana Roo’s backyard. Add to that the fact that Quintana Roo is the Official Bike Supplier Partner with IRONMAN, and the synergies are all lined up for a good time in Chatty.

Ognjen Stojanovic IRONMAN Rio

Best of all, one of the very first in the world to earn that cherished IRONMAN qualifier’s coin was Quintana Roo pro Ognjen Stojanovic. The Serbian ripped a killer race this weekend to win IRONMAN 70.3 Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, earning him one of those very first 70.3 Worlds slots.

2027 will bring a whole new breed of middle-distance aces. Who will end up on top, both in the pro race as well as across all the age groups? We’ve got lots of time until then. But we know one thing: Quintana Roo is gonna roll out the red carpet.

What can 70.3 Worlds athletes expect next fall? Well, the first thing Ognjen said resonated: “I can’t wait to tour the factory.” We can’t wait to have him in.

And you can join, too!

Quintana Roo Factory Tour

That’s right, you can join Ognjen for a tour of the Quintana Roo factory to see where the magic happens. Discover how we bring every QR to life, from painting your frame in your chosen custom color to assembly of your personally selected components. This will be your chance to see and meet the people behind the world’s most passionate triathlon brand. (We sometimes have our celebrity pro athletes on hand, too, as well as a taco truck for some free lunchtime eats!)

We’ll also have our signature complimentary service at the Quintana Roo booth. Bring your Quintana Roo by our booth inside the IRONMAN Village expo before the race for a safety check or tune-up to make sure it’s dialed for race day.

What else is cooking? Patience… we’ve got a full year until then. But there’s no time like the present to start planning! Get your qualification locked in. We’ll be excited to host you on the biggest weekend of racing.
