Home races carry a different kind of pressure. For Noah Anderson, a Rockford-area native and one of triathlon's fastest-rising content creators, IRONMAN 70.3 Rockford 2026 wasn't just another race on the calendar. It was a chance to perform in front of his community, on a course he knows, with something to prove. Watch how it all went down:

Achieving a Sub-5-hour IRONMAN 70.3

Noah crossed the finish line in 4:51:03, breaking the five-hour barrier for the first time in his 70.3 career. Sub-5 is a benchmark many athletes chase for seasons, and Noah was able to hit it on home soil!

But before any of that could happen, his Quintana Roo V-PRi needed some attention.

Quintana Roo free on-site bike service

Noah got his dream bike three months ago, and like a lot of athletes who are hands-on with their own equipment, he has been making cockpit adjustments at home. However, he went a little overboard with his wrench! Our pro mechanic, Michael, caught some looseness and a few stripped bolts in the V-PRi cockpit when Noah brought the bike in for a free on-site service. Michael replaced the stripped hardware, performed a full drivetrain tune, and completed a bolt check and safety inspection before handing it back.

That's exactly what our on-site bike services are there for. Whether it's a pre-race once-over or catching something the athlete didn't know to look for, having a professional set of eyes on your bike before the gun goes off can make all the difference.

"I know the bike [had] no issues, and I didn't have to pay anyone. That's a cool perk of Quintana Roo!" Noah said. "Even if you buy it on the Marketplace, they'll fix it up for you if it's a Quintana Roo, and that's pretty cool!"

With a dialed bike and zero mechanical worries in the back of his mind, Noah was free to fully focus on his race and achieve his first sub-5. This is the kind of result that builds momentum, and we can't wait to see where Noah takes things from here!
