Continuing QR Success in 2026: Expanding the Support Program, Pro Team, and Product Offerings

Records broken. Victories achieved. Personal goals met. Quintana Roo achieved new heights last year, despite headwinds across the industry. Quintana Roo plans to carry this momentum into 2026 by increasing its event presence and athlete support, growing its star-studded pro lineup, introducing all-new models, and raising the bar by delivering more performance and value to triathletes and cyclists worldwide. In short, 2026 will be the most exciting year in the brand’s history.

“Our focus isn’t just on winning, it’s on shaping the future of the sport,” says American Bicycle Group and Quintana Roo President and CEO Chris Pascarella. “The 2026 objectives for our brand are built on community growth, elite performance, and innovation without limits. Together with our athletes’ dedication and our passion, we’re working to inspire a new generation of cyclists and triathletes worldwide.”

Showing Up to Support QR Athletes Worldwide

Over the last two years, IRONMAN, Challenge Family, and USA Triathlon have all reported rising participation numbers, with an increase in the number of younger athletes. While many brands have been forced to make hard choices during these challenging times, Quintana Roo remains committed to bolstering this growing triathlon community by providing the highest level of athlete support at events.

Service and community are Quintana Roo’s signature, and in 2026, our dedicated support team is traveling to more events across North America and Europe to provide our signature on-site support and free mechanical services. Whether it’s a regional 70.3 or a championship event, we want to ensure that more QR athletes have access to staff on the ground who are invested in their success.

Committing to the Future of Triathlon

Clockwise: Ben Hamilton, Marta Sanchez, Alice Alberts, Kristian Høgenhaug, and Matt Hanson.

In 2021, Quintana Roo supported a total of five professional triathletes. In just five short years, that number has increased over sixfold. Thirty-one triathletes now fill the Quintana Roo roster in 2026, including six men and women, all ranked in the top 25 of the IRONMAN Pro Series—the second-most among all bike brands.

By committing to support more pro athletes than any other triathlon brand, Quintana Roo is giving established and up-and-coming talent the opportunities they need to shape the future of the sport. The results of this commitment are already visible in the transition racks of races worldwide as QR quickly becomes a top choice among the fastest athletes.

Bringing QR DNA to Road Racing

The Service Course aero road race bike (left) and the Service Route aero endurance bike.

While Quintana Roo is historically a triathlon-first brand, it’s no longer just a triathlon brand. By utilizing our decades of performance-driven design experience and drawing from the talent and experience of our sister brands, Litespeed and Obed, we have crafted new road bikes that showcase our ability to deliver high-performance riding experiences in exceptionally aero packages.

The Quintana Roo range now features two UCI-certified road models. For racers, the Service Course competes with the world’s fastest aero road bikes. In the endurance road bike category, we are proud to introduce the Service Route, which provides a combination of aerodynamics and comfort that remains surprisingly rare in the industry.

Both the Service Course and Service Route will also be available in new Studio NEXT variants, which are built with higher-grade carbon and more advanced lay-ups to reduce frame weight. Studio NEXT bikes are available in new, exclusive colors and built with premium components and upgrades.

The Proven Fastest Bikes in Tri

Kristian Høgenhaug at IRONMAN Frankfurt (left) and Jon Breivold at the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon.

It’s one thing to say Quintana Roo makes the fastest bikes, but it’s another to prove it out on the race course.

Last year, Kristian Høgenhaug rode his V-PRi to an overall victory at Challenge Championships in Samorin, Slovakia, and rode to the fastest IRONMAN bike split ever, 3:52:10, on his way to a silver medal finish at the Mainova IRONMAN Frankfurt European Championship. He capped off this success with a third-place result in the season-long IRONMAN Pro Series. Bolstered by Norwegian Jon Breivold’s victory at the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon and the 10th fastest bike split at the Men’s 2025 Ironman World Championships in Nice, it’s clear that the V-PRi is one of the fastest triathlon bikes in the world. Expect more fast bike splits—and more victories—this year.
