35th Anniversary interviews QR Athlete

We're continuing our 35th Anniversary Story Series with Ironman Race Director. Paul Huddle.

Everyone knows the irrepressible Paul Huddle for one of three things: as husband to the legendary Paula Newby Fraser, the chief race director at several Ironman races, or the man who has led a horde of severely under-dressed folks during the annual Kona Underpants Run.

We corralled him to talk about his own pro racing days in the 1980s with QR, including the revelation of the first QR wetsuits.
