Jodie is one of many pros that take on a day job, but few are as fun as that of music teacher, where she teaches kids from kindergarten through middle school during the day, and packs her summer break offseason with racing when the schedule works out.
A former competitive distance runner, Jodie qualified for the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Marathon Trials, took fourth at the 2015 U.S. Marathon Championships. With a 2:34 marathon PR, she became a huge threat when she found triathlon and Ironman racing, where she’s amassed several Ironman victories over her career. She’s been instrumental in the development of our bikes, most recently as one of the early in-race prototype test riders of the V-PRi, alongside Matt Hanson.
Jodie is also fostering the growth of multisport through our youth, service as a coach with the Lightning Warriors Youth Triathlon Team, teaching the ins and outs of swim/bike/run to kids from kindergarten to fifth grade in her hometown of Long Island, New York.
