There's nothing that hasn't been said about Craig Alexander that isn't just... exemplary. Three-time Hawaii IRONMAN World Champion (2008, '09 and '11). Two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship twice. Beyond that, the man affectionately called Crowie was the darling of the Olympic-distance drafting scene in North America in the 2000s, with victories at the iconic St. Croix International Triathlon (four times), Chicago Triathlon (twice), the Boston Triathlon (twice) The Los Angeles International Triathlon, and the 2005 Lifetime Fitness Triathlon in Minneapolis in 2005—at the time the highest prize purse in the history of the sport).
The man affectionately called Crowie remains one of the most respected figures in triathlon; a frequent IRONMAN race-day announcer providing competition insight few have, he's also the lead coach with Sansego Triathlon Club, a coaching platform he created as a vehicle with which to share his decades of race-tested and proven acumen. From training process to nutrition to technology, Crowie has been at the tip of the spear, with a level of knowledge that earned him titles so many of his many crowns.
Despite the accolades, Crowie remains one of the most affable, approachable figures in the sport—always with the time and training or racing advice for his fans. He's truly a student—and fan—of the sport, and all its athletes.
Quintana Roo is proud to serve as a partner with Crowie and Sansego Triathlon Club, providing Craig the most technically-advanced bikes in the sport, while supporting the club at key events on the calendar throughout the world.
