Five Reasons or Ways to Love Indoor Riding
-
Zwift - I just started using this in February and love the variety. I enjoy using the smart workout feature for workouts like the one below and then just going and riding different routes and courses on aerobic rides.
-
Time-Efficiency - No time wasted. You get a great bang for your buck with regards to time on task. I do almost 100% of my riding indoors on a regular basis when I am working.
-
Consistency - You can put your head down and really focus on the task at hand and consistently accomplishing the goal of your workout.
-
Safety - Need I say more? After getting hit by a car while riding my bike in 2015 I am grateful for any opportunity to prioritize safety especially when I live in a high traffic area.
-
Air Purifier - Running a high quality air purifier in my workout area (and many other rooms in our house) has made a huge difference. Indoor air often has a higher concentration of allergens than outdoor air due to poor circulation so I use an air purifier to help breathe in the cleanest air possible.
