COLIN SZUCH

Residence Evergreen, Colo.

From Track and Field to tearing up the IRONMAN 70.3 circuit, Colin is quickly becoming a force in the middle-distance scene. But he's not a single-sport transplant; Colin was immersed in multisport starting at age six, racing his first Olympic-distance race as a 10-year-old.

Colin's pro debut saw success right out of the gate; in his second-ever pro race, he claimed the win at IRONMAN 70.3 Florida. In 2024, he claimed another "W" at IRONMAN 70.3 Valdivia in Chile.

What to Watch For in 2026

is 2026 campaign looks very much the same as the last few years: a focus on cleaning up on the IRONMAN 70.3 circuit, and a qualification for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships in Nice, France at year's end. With his decidedly upward trajectory, it seems Colin's going to be a fixture on podiums around the world.

None of this is to say he's not got an eye toward Kona. Finishing fourth at the 2025 IRONMAN Arizona whet his whistle for a shot at taking part in the Hawaii IRONMAN in the next few years. For now, he'll continue to hunt more 70.3 crowns.
